The Vapotherm 2000i is a high flow, vapor-phase hydration system
that delivers high-flow air or oxygen by nasal cannula or other
patient interfaces.
The Vapotherm 2000i is a respiratory therapy device
that allows high flows of breathing gases to be delivered
by a narrow tube such as a nasal cannula or trans-tracheal
cannula, using patented membrane technology to warm and
saturate the gas stream. The Vapotherm™ system is defined
by its ability to deliver breathing gases ideally conditioned
(i.e. molecular water vapor, saturated but without
condensation) at high flows at or above body temperature.
This concurrence of attributes --flow, humidity and warmth--
permits treatment of a broad range of indications.
- HFT™ High Flow Therapy, supplemental breathing gases as indicated for numerous chronic lung diseases,
either to improve gas exchange or to reduce work of breathing.
Vapotherm's ability to efficiently moisturize and warm the flow
expands options to include nasal and tracheal delivery of gas flow rates comfortably up to 40 liters per minute.
- High humidity and warmth as indicated in upper airway
inflammatory conditions.
- Warmth delivered directly to the patient's core as indicated
in hypothermia (accidental or post-operative).
Features:
- Delivers 95 to 100% relative humidity
- Comprehensive alarm and indicators
- Membrane technology provides highly effective barrier to particle-borne bacteria
- Patented triple lumen delivery tube prevents excessive rain-out maintaining temperature of gas without heated wire circuits
- HFT™ brand does not cool or dry patient airways
- HFNC™ brand cannula minimizes rain out and interference with patient activities
- Operating flow range from 1-40 lpm depending on application
- 33-43°C output temperature
- Compact and lightweight, attaches to an IV pole
- Easy to use and set up
- Single display monitors all system functions
