Insolare

Insolare™ Infant Nasal Cannula

The Insolare™ is the next step in developing precision delivery of High Flow Therapy. As with our original cannula design, this new line of cannulas is developed specifically to address the challenges associated with delivering humidified gases via nasal cannula.

What You Need to Know

  • Designed for patients up to 2 years (24 months)
  • Optimized for neonate and infant care
  • Designed to minimize temperature loss to diminish rain-out
  • Dual and single prong (Solo™) design: with single functional supply tube from distal connector end to cannula body. The second tube is non-functional to loop behind the ear.
  • Similar "touch and feel" characteristics as current cannula

The Benefits

Vapotherm's Insolare™ line is a unique patented design that reduces heat loss and rain-out in the cannula. By reducing the residence time of the delivered gas in the cannula, the opportunity for rain-out is decreased. The Insolare™ line is ideal for patients that require low flow rates.
  • Reduces heat loss by up to 30%
  • Reduces rain-out caused by heat loss
  • Most effective at low flow rates

Key Points

  • The Insolare™ infant nasal cannula line is the newest patient interface from Vapotherm®
  • Designed primarily for use with the Company's acute care devices and are designed to improve performance, safety, and patient comfort
  • All of the Insolare™ interfaces are designed to improve performance by minimizing heat loss in the cannula
  • The Insolare™ line also follows Vapotherm's® overall interface design principles which include providing cannulas that maintain an open system for patient safety and optimization of nasal flush
  • The line also includes the Insolare™ Solo™, a single prong cannula to allow clinicians flexibility for pediatric applications

The Solo™

The Insolare™ Solo™ is an infant nasal cannula containing a single prong. This cannula is marketed for patients that require HFT™ therapy and have one nare utilized for nasogastric tubes or feeding tubes. The design will also appeal to clinicians who may have concerns about pressure and prefer the open flow on the opposite nare.
